I've fallen in love with my best friend. It is something completely unexpected as we are both going through a divorce and did not need the extra emotional turmoil. The connection between us is amazing and I could never imagine not having him in my life in one form or another.
We know we both love each other and could have a wonderful life together, but the problem is he is 14 years older than me. He doesn't want to have any more children and I'm not completely sure if I do or not. It is heart breaking talking to each other, knowing there is so much love between us, but neither of us willing to change our minds. Could we still be friends? And how?

I understand what you mean. All I can say is that if he's as great as he sounds go for it!Or if you're just too afraid of losing him as a friend just keep it cool.Definitely don't do anything until the divorces are entirely and completely over.As for him being 14 years older when it comes to love it comes in all diff. ages, sizes, races, and everything.Age is nothing but a number unless you're a minor, but you re married so I know you're not.I say just take the risk after all people don't stay forever. You never know what tomorrow holds.GOOD LUCK!!

i would say you can, but eventually someones going to give. if you do, just meet in places so your not alone together, so you know nothing will happen, or just try to keep it a friendship over the phone. i lost a really good friend of mine ( i am in love with him) cause we kissed. we still talk now and again, but its not the same. theres more tension between us now then before.
