Why we are die'in to live when we are living to die?

Let's just say that people do not want to stop being here, and are afraid to find out what's after here...

Well, the answer is integrally linked with the fact that we lived before this physical life - but only as spirits in Heaven with our Heavenly Father who spiritually begat us as His 'spirit children'.

We were there for A LONG TIME.
Our Father had an Immortal Body as well as spirit All this time, and we desperately wanted to be like Him.
We desperately wanted physical bodies of our own.

Eventually, when we had spiritually grown mature enough, we had the choice to come here to earth where we could receive and trial ourselves with physical bodies.
We all chose to come to earth that will come.

Some did not, of course, and decided to follow Satan's idea - wherein they eventually refused bodies - most of them!

That long-time Drive within us to gain and keep bodies has not left us in this short life!
That impetus to gain and hold onto the physical life is innate within us now.

We see it is a terrible loss to lose this body.
Yet it is evenually necessary - just as for Jesus - to give up the ghost from this dying, decaying body - But the merciful plan of the Redeemer is that we shall all live again - every one of us - with new Immortal indestructible bodies!
This explains why we are dyin' to live, but really living to die ... against our limited understanding.and wills here.
But before we came here we chose this whole path to eternity.
