We all should be nice to every one. Some day you could loose all your money, and wouldn't you want people that have more than you to be nice to you? You don't have to have them as a friend but they can be a lot of fun too. Some times people don't spend money to have fun.

How sad... you should never look down on someone less fortunate than you... for all you know, it will be YOU someday. Would you like them to look down on you? You should treat others the way you want to be treated. Here's a poem I wrote. Sorry it's long, but I hope it touches you somehow anyway...

The Difference

I see you every day
when you pass me on the street.
I hope that maybe someday
We'll have a chance to meet.

I wasn't blessed with wisdom,
with fortune or with fame.
I cannot seem to get ahead.
I'm fighting a losing game.

Do you take a moment in your day
to wonder how I feel?
Do I even cross your mind
as you enjoy your gourmet meal?

You have many friends
with which to have your fun.
Do you know what I would give
to even have just one?

I know it's not your fault.
that I turned out this way.
But you don't know how one kind word
would surely make my day.

You have no worries late at night
when you get into bed.
But when I sleep I wonder
if the morning will find me dead.

You have a fancy office
with a desk and comfy chair.
While I beg for work from door-to-door
for a job that isn't there.

You have a safe place you can go-
a shelter from the storm.
But what I'd give for just one night
in a place that keeps me warm.

So when you pass by tomorrow
please try to understand.
I am a person, but unlike you,
I am a homeless man.

I have tried 3 different times to answer this question and all I can say is that if you can catagorize people by the kind of car that they drive, then I think the poor people are better off not being friends with you anyway. I wouldn't say you are a bad person, just not very open minded. Maybe work on that for a while, and try not to judge people for things that they can't control. Good luck.

You're a privileged & judgemental person. Apparrently you don't get the fact that driving nice cars & eating out at every meal does not mean that all your "friends" are truly living "nice lives". If you have to ask if you're thoughts make you a "bad" person, tells me you question your own thoughts. I hope you remain privileged & that nothing ever happens to your "nice lifestyle", because you wouldn't be able to handle the loss. Check out the movie "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy.

it is bad because everybody are the same because nobody is different. Just because your friends have money and they can buy anything they want doesn't mean they have everything they want. Because poor ppl have something that rich ppl don't. And that's is love for everybody even for animals because they love more the animals then us. i can tell u more. The only thing I can tell you is that follow your heart and make the rite choice and don't make the poor choice. Just remember that one day your rich friends they migth turn poor too and u migth have to help them to so u will have a poor friend. That's all I can tell you I don't know what you think about poor ppl but we have to help them too because we never know if we going to be poor too and the poor ppl are going to be rich.

I think your a heartless materialistic person. One day these poor people are going to be rich and you will be the one in the wellfare line, I was poor now Im a mortgage broker with a college education a sweet car and all the rich kids that use to make fun of me are now strung out on drugs, stripping and standing in the wellfare line. Karma is a M*ther f*cker

Dude, I don't have any poor friends either. It's not necessarily bad, I just haven't been around a lot of poor people. It seems like more often than not, the poor folks are the ones who try to treat me like crap. I don't care if they think I am a bad person, I have fun with my rich friends.

And "wondering", rich people can be true friends, too. Why does everyone think all poor people are good people and all rich people are just bad people. What a load of crap.

YES........that is defiantely BAD..........you should not JUDGE other people because they are poor or don't have as much as you do, because everyone is gods people and god can make you eat those words and you could be that poor person that someone may not be friends with cause you are not good enough for them.........Be thankful for what you have and PRAY for the POOR people, and also how you feel about this question...

It doenst take much of a turn in life to put you in the poor house. Your kids could go to jail and need you...A loved one could pass away. Or...you could own a house and your AC just went out. I could go on.... Next time you go out....try this... When you look at someone...look into their eyes for atleast 4 seconds. You can read a lot thru someones eyes. People think we have money because we live in a big house and have nice vehicles. If they only knew how damn hard it is to stay afloat. Good Luck.
