If they are there with you through thick and thin, and even when you have an argument it isn't a big deal - they are a true friend. When you are around a true friend you can say whatever is on your mind without thinking twice because you know they will understand, and you don't have to worry they will gossip to other people.

because she is always there, when i need her, and vice versa. even if we have a fight we can't stay more than a week to talk each other. she tells me the true even if it hurts ( a lot)
i think you got the idea. you can meet a lot aof people but true friends ... you can count them with your fingers..
