Well they are not Man enough, so they prefer that their wives atleast are satisfied.
Or some man get excited when they see their wives having sex with other men. To each their own.

It is a fantasy. A real live porn movie staring your wife happening right in front of you! Seeing your wife with another man, seeing how she can please him and make him "happy" often makes a man proud in a very masculine way. Watching another man pleasure your wife, seeing her react, watching her eyes, her facial expressions, the way her body responds...it is a porn the husband has produced, directed and now gets to watch.
The husband would have to be extremely comfortable with himself, his relationship with his wife, and his own ability it satisfy her. It really does take a strong man with a health mental attitude, a wonderful sex life and a solid marriage.
For the most part the guys have no contact. It is often just husband watching, husband not watching but excited to know it is happening or husband is involved without male/male contact.
There are lots of couples exploring this. Inviting a female to join in isn't the only thing men (and women) want. Thanks to the Internet, it is so much easier to make fantasy a reality. Also it allow individuals to see there are so many others have the same interest.

They are trying to overcome the screwed up relationshp they had with their father, the contempt they feel for the women in their lives, or normalize the sexual abuse they suffered as children ... or all of the above.
Hate to say it but a lot of people walk through life feeling contempt for the opposite sex.
