In addition to deleting the history, you may also wish to delete cookies, saved passwords, and temporary internet files if your adversary is computer-savvy. I believe you can do all three things from the Tools->Internet Options dialog in Internet Explorer.

In your browser, click on tools, then internet options, you'll see a button that says "clear history". You should also delete your files (same area) as well as your cookies. Hope this helps!

from your desktop right click Internet Explorer- select properties- and then press the Clear History button near the bottom of the window. This doesn;t totally delete it but it makes it pretty darn hard to find

Depends which browser you are using. if it's internet explorer, go up to Tools, and click on internet options, then click the "Delete files," then to make sure, "Delete cookies," and "Clear history" tabs. You will need to delete all of these to make sure no one finds out where you've been without special software, you porn addict, you.
(For any other browser, just click on "Help," and search for "History," and "Cookies," or "Temporary files."

On a PC:
Two ways:
1-Go to "Control Panel", click "Internet Options" and click
"Delete History" (under the "General" tab).
2-Open "C:/" drive, open "Documents and Settings" folder,
then open "Owner " folder, then open "Local Settings"
folder, and you'll see the "History" folder which keeps
your "History".
