A few years ago I found out that I had ovarian cysts. I was told that birth control can help these go away so the doctor gave me some and sent me on my way. I was cut off of my parents insurance because I was no longer a full time student. A year ago i had all the same symptoms that I had had in the past so I went to planned parenthood and got back on the pill. I haven't seen a doctor about this problem because I still don't have insurance. I'm scared that if I don't see a doctor this can lead to fertility problems etc.. I have never been to a clinic and I don't know much about how they work...Does anyone know if a clinic would be able to treat my problem??

It sounds to me like PCOS, Poly cystic ovarian syndrome. I have the same problem. I was diagnosed with PCOS in Febuary. You are doing the right thing getting on birth control. I know I am still having problems but they do work for some. Go on the web and look up PCOS. There is alot of info out there. Do try to get to a dr. because they may need to give you something for insulin resistance. It comes with the territory. Next time you go to Planned Parenthood ask them about PCOS.

Good Luck !!!

Maybe.I had a cyst one of my ovaries and still got pregnant twice.I finally had the ovarie removed when I was through having children. But I would probably ask a Doctor at a clinic what he thought.

they should be able to. but most cysts like that go away over time. i had one on me and it did make it hard for me to get pregnant but i got on the pill and it went away and then i got pregnant right after getting off the pill. they are nothin to worrie about to much unless they couse u alot of problems.

these cysts r nothing to worry about there normal in alot of women. they come and go without you even realising they are there. leave it and if you should have any changes in yr periods or discomfort at anytime then consult a doctor.
