I have been in contact with a girl I went to school with from jr. high through high school, I have bought her a plane ticket to fly up and meet.. We have not seen each other for 30 years! I have a great plan! 3 days in Neveda, a short drive back to Idaho for a dinner cruise on the Snake River at a beautiful place called 1000 springs. I'm nervous as hell, but we seem to just click. She is very excited about it, both we are both nervous as hell. Your opinions please! Thanks.

Hi! I'm glad for you! You both might be nervous now but I bet within 5 minutes of being together again, all your nerves will melt away. If you click as well as you say, the nerves will be gone in a matter of minutes. Have fun! :D

That's funny because I had a good friend that I've known since 7th grade. She went through some really terrible times and came and stayed with us.We lived in Twin Falls Idaho at the time. She decided she needed to learn how to use a computer and took a class. Then she started exploring the high school reunion stuff online, found her highschool sweetheart she hasn't seen for 30 years, they emailed each other, talked on the phone alot then decided to meet.He lives in Las Vegas.they now have been very happily married for about 2 years. She was really nervous, but now is glad she did it.Hopefully the Nevada,Idaho connection is a good thing...since it was for my friend.

I would be nervous too. I recently got in touch with a guy i went to jr high with. Actually I went on one date with him, but it never worked out. Recently I got message by him through classmates.com and right now hes over in iraq, and we send each other emails and he calls me once in a while.

I hope you two have an awesome reconnection, and something good comes out of it, if not a romance, but a great frienship.

I hope it works out for you. The only problem would be, what if you find that you have changed and can't stand each other? Then you are stuck trying to get through several days together. I think your plans were a bit too ambitious, but as I said, I hope it works out. It sure sounds romantic.

I say just go and have fun. Don't try too hard to impress her though.
Here's the deal. If you work too hard in the beginning, it'll be what she expects from you ALL THE TIME. Nobody can deliver on such a tall order. Just remember to be yourself and not who you think she wants you to be. After all.... you want her to like you for who you are and not who you can play.

Good luck and have fun.

I'm with the others. Think of it as the kind of nervous when waiting for Santa Claus as a kid... You know you are gonna get presents!

Stay cool. Be yourself and have a good time. I'm happy for you, man!

that sounds very romantic. if you do click then it'll probably be great. I'd be nervous though, not having seen her for 30 years is a lonnnnggg time. I'm sure you'll do fine though...:)

Honestly I wish you the best but think nothing will come of it.
Why did you lose touch in the first place if you had clicked?
