Do you leave them in the washer too long before putting them in the dryer? When I forget to change out the load, it can get a little musty.

Next time, when the washer fills all the way up with water, add 1/4 cup of bleach in the water. It will kill any germs in there. For dark colors, you can use less bleach.

Have tried using liquid fabric softener in the wash and sheets in the dryer?

Do you get your clothes out of the washer immediately after the cycle is complete?

Do you put them in the dry right away, keep it running until they're all dry, and remove them as soon as they're done?

Have you tried using baking soda in both your hamper and the wash? This actually works wonders; you should give it a go if you haven't already.

If secret and dove aren't doing their thing well enough, baking soda again, could be your fix ...so long as you're not wear black.

Maybe try a different soap and avoid foods that can worsen body odour, like garlic for instance.

I have found that using scented deodorant has an adverse effect on the purpose of the product. I was advised to use the unscented 'Dove' product (original) & found it to be really effective. Been using it for the last 12 yrs. & am happy. Additional to this, you can also soak then handwash the armpits of tops/shirts before putting in the washing machine.

Try air-drying your clothes: if they don't stink, then the problem is with your dryer. If they still stink, you may be leaving them in the washing machine too long before drying them or your washing machine needs sorting out.

What does your clothes smell like? If body odor then they are not getting clean (is machine too full, are you using the recommended amount of soap) try another brand of soap.
Hard or soft water could also cause problems. If they smell moldy or musty then you let them set too long wet before drying.
Also remove promptly from washer and from dryer when dry.
Fold or hang promptly to prolong life of garment.

Prewash with detergent by hand in the underarm section of your shirt. Then put a little ammonia in the wash water less than 1/4 c.

If you leave your clothes in the washer too long after they've been washed they will grow mold, and smell. If you leave wet clothes in the dryer for too long they will mold. But if it's neither of these then I'd have to go with baking soda or dryer sheet.

If you leave clothes in the dryer too long or on too high of a temperature, they may burn from the hot air. My dryer does the same, it leaves a "smoky" scent that must be washed out again. Better to let hang it cool, than to take it our steaming!

Try this for a change - wash your clothes normally n as soon as it finishes put it straight into the dryer then see what happens :)
I got the same problem as you at times. Our clothes are just letting us know that its either we have no time for them or we just plain lazy.

??First, don't leave them in the dryer too long. Take them out as soon as its done. Use a fabric softener when its being washed. I use a lavender scented-one. It retains the scent after its dryed.
