Unless absolutely necessary, I would wait until the 2 month mark. Have you asked your pediatrician for their advice? I would imagine they would recomment the same.

I will guess there is no limit on how young a child can be... I will tell you from experience in doing a lot of flying... always have a full bottle available for when the pressure in the cabin changes so the baby can clear the ears (by sucking/drinking on the bottle)

My daughter was 1 month old when we traveled from ny to miami beach. I held her in an infant pouch on me & was able to breastfeed doing this. she felt warm & safe that way.
