I just want to know why alot of people are against gay marriage. If different races can get married, why cant gays? I mean what if all gay people lived in their own country and you moved there and wanted to marry a person of the opposite sex and you couldnt. There are going to be gays whether they are allowed to get married or not. Just because they arent allowed to get married doesnt mean they are going to stop being gay.

You ask a very good question. Mostly, people fear those that are different. A person that is fearful is easy to control. Our current regime would rather have you fear than think so they encourage others that fear.

Keep asking good questions. You know the right answer. It is just very confusing when some many others don't see the simple truth. Another point used against gays, is that they chose to be gay. Ask a straight person when they chose to straight. It of course applies to every one.

Good luck.

It's like a bad orange amongst other fruit.
It takes some time before it slowly begins to affect another piece around it, but once this gets established, it quickly infects all the other fruit around it.

No2.
The MOMENTUM!!
Gay Marriage then brings up the next idea in the warped saga:
CHILDREN!!!
I cannot think of anything more repulsive and wicked to inflict upon a child or baby than for it to be 'drafted' into Homosexuality!

Many of its life decisions are virtually determined for it that will never be healthy for the baby's growth as a real human being.
It is what we force upon such innocence that is the real Driving Devil and concern...
Especially, with all this rubbish produced through the word, "Discrimination" now!

I mean, How badly has this 'poor' word been drilled and drilled for eventual, poorly outcomes and because it is a concept so poorly understood these days?!!

haha here are some reasons...hope you enjoy reading it...lol
10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

The truth is it's not something that has any logical justification for banning it. It is impossible to oppose gay marriage (or even civil unions) with using direct or veiled religious rhetoric. Gay marriage would not undermine any happily married straight couples marriage at all. Also people say that it would destroy the sanctity of marriage but with gays unable to marry and the divorce rate at about 50% it looks like the sanctity of marriage has already been destroyed by the vary people who withhold it from others.

There is nothing wrong with gay marriage! People just want to push their beliefs on everyone else! Maybe they think that if they "save: one gay person from his sin that it will erase some of the sin that they have committed themselves!

Because it is a little known fact that if gays get married then the universe will explode in an overlode of tolerance and understanding

Because this country can't seem to remember that there is a separation of church and state. So since the bible says it's wrong, then you can't do it. It's the same reason that they are trying to overturn Roe v Wade. Unless you are a White Christian Male, then you don't matter anymore in this country.

Gay marriage could actually help the anti-abortion crowd. More responsible gay couples willing to adopt unwanted children would eliminate one of the arguments we pro-choicers use.

Good point. I support gay marriage 100%. If they dont like it, they can be straight, but dont tell others what to do. I feel that love is love no matter what the gender.

I don't see a big deal about it. I think it's just people wanting to control an aspect of other people's lives who they don't agree with it. If they don't agree with it they shouldn't concern themselves with it trying to change laws and all that other crap. It doesn't threaten straight marriage or anything else. It's just another senseless prejudice.
