I thought I could get more info from there talking to turtle people but it will not accept e-mail from hotmail or yahoo

Probably because they require you to have an address from a non free email service, to prevent the amount of spammers/bots. There are better alternatives but they probably don't know how or are too lazy to implement them. My suggestion is that you have a friend that has maybe an AOL account to let you use their address. Probably because theyre free. Usually it makes you have an email account from a server.

Yes, you need a non-web based email account to sign in.
Sorry, it's part of the rules.
