How do I use unique colors than the regular ones on AIM?

I know this doesn't have to do with Yahoo. But, when i check people's info, i see all this cool stuff and lighter colors or ones i haven't seen when I edit my profile. My define custom colors doesn't work soo...how do I get these lighter and unique colors? Help!

your (and my) define custom colours is the accesspoint to colour selection, given that there are millions of possibel colours (256 to the power of 4 - RGBT) and only a select few are popular, so if you want something else, you literally need to make it.
