The scanner should be able to save anything you scan as a JPG file. When you send an email, attach the JPG file to your email. That should do it.

I'm not familiar with your scanner, but the basic thing is to scan it and save it as a file, a picture, or whatever you can save it as. Then when you go into your email, there should be a button that says something like "attatch files", when you hit that, you should get a little "upload" button, click it and find where you saved the file or picture or whatever, and upload it. It will attatch it to your email, and you can send it off!

You really don't even need your scanner. Read through this Microsoft bulletin. It's fairly straight forward and will be much easier than all of the steps involved in scanning. Good Luck.

I hope this might help you out but here is what I do. I simply scan the documents and then my printer software lets me preview what I just scanned. I then have the option of saving them to file or emailing them. If your printer allows for you to have different options to do with your scans you might want to check into maybe having the choice to email or just simply save them to file then email those files. I did this by scanning some resumes for my uncle into files then emailing them to him and they worked fine. It's worth a try. Hope this might help. Pamela

Completely possible. Get the manual and find out how to scan and fax. Its way easier, but usually scan-fax machines take longer, they have to scan first, convert into jpeg, send, receive, uncovert, blah, blah, blah... For an easier answer ask some computer nerd at CompUSA.
Its easier than you think.

Good Luck

Absolutely, if the scanner is a newer model there should be a button or link or something that pops up on your computer that should allow you to send the document right from the scanner.

Yes, you just need a bit of software called OCR (Optical Character Recognition). You can download something, but your scanner should have come with at least a trial package.
