go to:tools>internet options...>content tap>autoComplete..and then clear it!!!

To completllt clear out your history go to the top of the page. Click tool. Internet options. Delete cookies, delete files, delete history.

If you mean the drop down box that appears with all of the information you have searched for in the past, (because you selected "yes" to have Windows remember it)...

Click the empty search box, then use your mouse, or arrow keys to highlight a word, and press the key.

you've been searching things you shouldn't, try this solution, download a browser allows you to delete everything within your browser, cache, history, search results, passwords cookies, and so forth, browsers like Fire Fox, Netscape, has this ability, and although in beta testing, you may want to download Internet Explorer 7, then from their go to tools options or preferences, then privacy, or delete or something, you can also download a browser called Avant from Download.com, then those searches want come back and kick you in you butt later on.

This might work but i'm not sure. Worked for me. Hit the down key in the search box and hit delete for each search.

click on the pencil in the tool bar then go to CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY...

you open your web naviagator, go to TOOLS, then choose internet options. from the internet options, at the buttom, there is an option that says clear history..just click that and no body will know what web site you visited...
