why does everyone like shakira?, like her vidoe hips dont lie, why does everyone like it? what has shakira that people likes so much?, i think all of shakira's songs are the same, same rithym, even same artists, like the dude from hips dont lie he was in the other video La Tortura.

because she has nice moves???, please, one thing is the moves, the other thing is her videos, plus she was like number one on billboard for like six weeks, i really dont get how a stupid song and how a stupid video can get number one on billboard, 50 cent hasn't even made it.

Also, Alejandro Sanz was featured in La Tortura, however, Wyclef Jean was featured in Hips Don't Lie.

The reason why people like Shakira is because she is not your typical Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera. Her songs are from every range in pop, and she tries anything that comes to her mind. Hips Don't Lie for example, was made after the release of Oral Fixation because she met Wyclef and they made a song. Randomely. Her song is just danceable, and well, she knows how to dance--plus, she trained herself.
Additionally, she has a foundation that helps over three million Colombians in her country. For example, she bought Reebok shoes to all the kids in Colombia due to the name of her foundation Pies Descalzos--or Barefeet in English. She is a true humanitarian and that has helped increase your fame.

Yes, I like Shakira. She is fashioned. Her voice is distinctive and she will be able to dance good. Her songs are good written. Overall, she is particularly an entertainer. She is exceptional than a cookie cutter company pop big name like the ones from American Idol or the Spears/ Aguilera varieties.

Shakira is loved by many people because she is so down-to-earth. She really cares about people, she started her own charity, Piez Descalzos, which helps many South Americans. Her music also relates to many Latin Americans. And actually, the "dude" from 'La Tortura' is Alejandro Sanz, shes only sung with him once, only in 'La Tortura'. And her music doesn't have the same rhythm, you should listen to all her songs, they are very different.

Because she is beautiful has an amazing voice and can move like no one else! All her songs are awesome and her videos are even better! And what does 50 cent have to do with music anyway?? You don't have very good taste in women or music!! Get some eyeglasses and a hearing aid!

Anyway, I think people like Shakira, especially for her dance moves. And she sings very well. And no, the songs aren't really the same rhythm. Listen to Whenever, wherever, then listen to Hips don't lie. Do they have the same rhythm?

second: they're not the same, most artists have a lot of songs that sound the same
third: they also have a lot of songs with the same rhytm
fouth: same artists? yeah she's only one woman she's not a band

I think everyone likes her because of her genre of music.Thats the reason why I like her.Not a lot of Latin Rock based singers make some songs in English.If they do I dont know about them.

r u serious?? where do i start? she has everything...great voice, looks, moves, and that's not even counting that unexplainable something she has...i can't put my finger on it but she has definitely got it! i really wouldn't care what language she sings in i luv her voice that much! it has so much character and depth! i just think she is the whole package! and btw, Wyclef Jean is NOT in the La Tortura video!
