I'm sorry you had to go through this... I sometimes wonder myself just what in the world could those people be thinking answering questions in the rude manner? It's not helping anyone, including them too.
I believe, it just depends on the person, how their day went, what they had for breakfast, and whether or not someone stepped on their fuzzy tail during the long and hot day :) When they answer questions they just don't realize that they might be hurting someone's feelings in the way that they answer--there are real people behind the computer screen and not dummies (am I right, or not?). Therefore... we have nitwitts (excuse my language) out there who don't give a flying-squirrel's-behind about anyone or anything, but their own selfishness. However, there are a lot of loving, caring, smart, intellectual, and wonderful people out there who'll be more than happy to give you the best possible answer that they can including giving you referrals to the places that can answer any additional questions that you might have.
Just to let you know, the only thing that you have to do (and, I've learned it a hard way too) is... ignore the worst answers to your questions--just think of it as someone taking it out on you just because they had a bad day... unfortunately it is so; and select the one that you like best or the one that answered your question(s) the way you wanted to hear the answer(s). Go with your heart and gut instinct, and you'll be able to find what you're looking for :)

yeah have had this problem just ignore them that's the best way to deal with don't waste time even thinking of those types of people . so good luck

people do answer 'real' questions with 'real' answers. its dumb questions like this one that get @$$hole responses

sound agree about this most peole are truthful and it seems that you can tell which aren't so just ignor their answers
