None online are legitimate. Stay away from them, they will ask you for money.

You NEVER have to pay to audition for commercials, movies, theater, or television.

Don't let anyone tell you that you have to pay.

To audition for commercials and acting jobs, you must be submitted by a talent agent or manager.

If you live in a major city, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta there are many agents and mangers in those cities.

Use actorsaccess.com and if you are in LA, then use LACasting.com. Yes, there are some fees, but I'll explain.

Actorsaccess.com: This is a "division" (I guess you could call it) of Breakdown Services. Breakdown Services (in case you don't know) is what all agents and manager use to view the breakdowns (roles) of all upcoming projects. We, as actors, do not have access to most things, but people can post their project on the actorsaccess side so that everybody can see it. You'll find a lot of student films, non-union gigs, etc. here. You can sign up for free and upload 2 headshots for free, but any additional shots (beyond the 2 will cost $10). Also, there are a lot of projects doing hardcopy AND electronic submissions. For about $70/year you can have the ability to send an unlimited amount of electronic submissions. Not too bad when you think about the fact that it will cost almost .70 cents everytime you MAIL a headshot out.

LA Casting charges to upload the headshots, but all the electronic submissions are free. Some projects will be the same as on actorsaccess, some on only on LACasting.

But hopefully, you have a brain in your head, and can take a look at what they provide and see that they are a necessary tool for the beginning actor.

With that being said, I WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GET INVOLVED WITH ANY OTHER WEBSITE PROMISING TO CAST YOU IN COMMERCIALS OR TV. THEY ARE NOT LEGIT.

Hope this helps.

talentpass.com

It's more of a site where you can send casting agents, or other folks interested in you. You can upload headshots, video, voice overs, etc.

Break legs!
