Texas has the advantage of being without a state income tax. I hear housing prices are starting to get high there, however. Louisiana is a tad humid for me. I'm sure If you want some type of construction or post disaster work you'll find it there. It's still quite a mess down that way. don't know about Georgia. Sorry.

Well, you're going for hot and humid in the summer. Baton Rouge just sounds cool to me, for some reason.
I think I'll move there too.

Atlanta is a very popular city nowdays, and the average age of the residents there is like 32! You should do some research on crime rates, weather, average income/rent/etc. on a city before you decide to move. I just moved to Baltimore in Dec and I'm loving it!!!

I would say Houston because that is where I would like to eventually move. My second choice is a town in Georgia.

Too hot for my tastes.
Houston is considered the new growth spot, so head there.
