I want to start a website. Is there a way I can run the web hosting myself or would it be best to hire someone? If I have to hire someone, who is the best?

I think it depends on what kind of business you are interested in starting. Will you be selling something on-line (i.e. retailer) or will it be for information (possibly for a brick and mortar)?

IMO an on-line retail site would be more difficult to set up, but it is possible for you to run and host it. I use 'DreamHost' which has the ability to host your site and set up retailer shopping carts.

An Information site will be easy, since all you have to do is create pages telling about your services, and include contact information - either an email or an on line form someone can fill out.

As for hiring someone, that will cost some money to create, design, and host. In addition you will need to go back to them from time to time in order to make changes. In NYC a freelancer can charge anywhere from $25/hr and up; plus hosting costs.

I would recommend you most profitable LEGITIMATE online business which is fully automated. It is very simple to start just sigup and you are ready to go. No experience required, you should have Computer and internet connection to check you e-mails. This system is very much different from other business which requires lot of time, energy and money. This incredible system allows you to earn fortune without selling, advertising, prospecting, closing or answering questions. It works 24/ 7 and you can earn profit for each automatic sale, sitting in your home, enjoying life with family and friends or on vacation. . This system allows you to earn $3000 everyday. THIS IS NOT MLM
This business can be done Globally.

this is how i started out . i had a product i wanted to sell on the web. but didn't have alot of money, and was'nt to sure if i had a hit product, so i went to yahoo auctions, because you can sell your product on yahoo auctions for free, unlike ebay. and this will tell you if you have a product that people want and it's no money out of your pocket. this was 5 months ago, now im making $500.00 to $600.00 every month, and this is just parttime,

may I suggest something even esasier? All you have to do is sign up for something like this, and your web site is provided. Then get the URL out to as many as you can. I learned about the product because it actually is an excellent one and I use it myself. Now I just tell people where it is (as many as I can) and they come to me.
