Put out ur CV in every place poss. Some places might take longer to reply than others, so wait a bit. Dont be too pushy with the places you have applied to.They dont want a bossy image of you. Apply to as many places as poss, even if you do not want a permenant job there...it will give you something to do for the time being.
Also, take part in activities etc that you will be able to add to your CV, giving you a better chance at being accepted much quicker next time you apply. Courses, small voluntry jobs etc will boost your chances by far.
good luck

Go to the classified sections of your local newspaper. There are a lot of help wanted ads there. Also go on line to job search engines and you could post you resume and have company's contact you.

Now you need to do good research on why this is not happening. COuld be with various reason such as Resume, interview skills, job cycle / economy, demand / supply in your profession. Can go to 'Vault' for information and many surveys on this topic, also listen from various stakeholders in job world

Register with your local unemployment office, if you haven't already....they will give you a password and pin number to access their job market database. Or, check with temp agencies. I've sustained two plant closings and six layoffs since Sept., 2000...it's rough, and I sympathize with you...good luck!

I wasn't getting any interviews with my resume and cover. So I googled services. But, wasn't sure if they'd be good. So I asked friends and went with Anne Marie (resumeonline@rogers.com). She doesn't advertise and just works online. Did a really amazing job.

jazz up your resume, remember you are trying to ,well, sell yourself. always walk in with your head up be proud of yourself, be confidante. i sometimes go in for an interview with the attitude that i really dint need this job and that takes off alot of pressure, works for me. i wish i could make a living doing job interviews, i do very well. good luck!

Just a tip that I have learned from friends with the same problem......Dont be so picky. They are to selective in there search. Broaden your search out some....maybe that will help.

Places like those could really help you out alot. Check your local paper in the classifieds section.
