I don't know. I was just wondering about that the other day. I've never actually met a British person with bad teeth. The only dentally-challenged Brit I even know is Austin Powers.

People are becoming much more literal in their views these days..times change..it used to be STEREOTYPICALLY funny and ACCEPTABLE for the British and Colonials to laugh at their bad teeth, bad hair, bad clothes, bad figure, bad mannners..shall i go on? I dont think i will...

I think it's because of the bad hygiene that they have over there. Don't brush their teeth etc.
