The question is a paradox as there never can be, in an ever changing world events scenario, ONE most influential person.
Whoever YOU think is the most influential has him/herself been influenced by others.
Perhaps the question was meant to be: "The most POWERFUL person in the world." This is also a paradox as power depends upon support from others and is therefore not singular but 'collective'.
Remember the old adage, "How are the mighty fallen."
