who is stronger Goku or Superman?

The question is moot. Doesn't matter because we will never find out. Different cultures different companies. More importantly both Goku and Superman are good superhero. Because both are good they will never battle or test each other to see who is stronger. However, both Goku and Superman are always stronger then there evil archnemesis. In other words, good always defeats evil. It is less of an issue whether Goku or Superman is stronger but rather the issue is the good is stronger than evil. Therefore the question is moot.

This one has been asked several times, & you might find it beneficial to research this question. However, I'll give my standard answer & reason. Goku fought Superman in Wizard, & once he went Super Saiyan, he wiped the floor with the big S, sending him crashing into the moon. I assume Wizard would have to get permission to use these characters for this battle, which was a set of battles between manga characters & U.S. homegrown comic superheroes. Still, if Goku could even hold his own against Superman as a Super Saiyan, which is believable, think what he could do as a Super Saiyan 4! Goku's power level at the end of the Frieza battle was 15 million, & he beat Superman around like Frieza, who was at 12 million during that battle. By the time he reached SS4, his power was several hundred million, many times that of his first SS transformation. The only way Superman might stand a good chance would be if it was the original Superman, whose powers aren't as limited as those since his rebirth in the 80s. Then, he might have a shot. Otherwise, Goku.

Superman has destroyed entire planets, survived being tossed directly into the sun more than once ( Last Sons of Krypton storyline) from an orbit halfway between the Sun and Mercury, single handily defeated every single DCU superhero and super villain (Superman, King of the World crossover); Helped completely recreated and restore the entire universe not once, but twice (Zero Hour #0 and Emperor Joker story arcs); Time traveled repeatedly, sometimes under his own power (Superman the movie, Time and Time again story arc, Superboy meets the Legion of Super heros); Came back from the dead (Reign of the Supermen maxi series); Traveled to to ends of the universe (which is where he originally encountered the dying Hank Henshaw, who would later become the Cyborg Superman); traveled to the end of time itself (with Waverider) and witnessed entropy (Superman/Doomsday Hunter/Prey mini series); Survived numerous direct nuclear explosions (the Dark Knight Returns mini series; Superman at Earth's End one shot; Kingdom Come mini series, etc).

I would love to see Goku do any one of those things, let alone all of them! I don't dispute the fact that Goku is powerful, he's likely the most powerful character in DB. However, Goku is no match for Superman.

Goku. he could just power up to super saiyan 1,2,3, or 4 an plus he can teleport unlike superman. Goku can also fuse with Vegeta. Creating Gogeta. Can superman fuse no.ets Goku has Ki energy which lets him use the Kamehameha, Sprit Bomb, ect. Goku can power up once he gets weak superman cant. Goku also go Oozaru and golden Oozaru. Superman cant. Goku could destroy the earth if he wanted to. superman cant. Goku could kick superman's a**.

Superman.. he can move a planet. Sure Goku is strong and stuff but i don't know if he could phsyically move a planet like Superman...

Superman can knock out the Juggernaut, Goku couldn't phase him if he tryed.
