There are a lot of free games out there especially online type or MMORPG. in fact I am playing it now. http://www.onrpg.com/ is a good site to fine what you might be looking for. If not do a googel search on it.

Game Hippo may have some. It's a freeware game site. There is another site called Liberated Games. All the games there are free. They're also legal to download.

You should buy say (red alert) for about $5 in any second hand shop and play online for free against the 40 million people online playing (red alert) just like you want to.

you know, people work hard to make those games. Why should you get them for free? Do you want to go to work and have your boss tell you that they dont' feel like paying this week because they want your service for free? Pay for the games. Stop being cheap. They don't cost that much.
