has anyone ever gotten virus from using Limewire? i have read from most post that you could get virus, but my question is has anyone ever had virus just from using Limwire?

YES, It cost us $98 to get it removed. Stay out of limewire!!!

Yeah, I got a mad virus from Limewire. I was trying to download a game called Rodent's Revenge, and when it finished downloading, everything starting flashing, "Virus". I ended up downloading 27 viruses. Luckily, my virus protection cleaned them all up.

Stay away from zipped files sized "851.7Kb", or "197.7 Kb",
or other such common zipped files sizes, and you'll be
okay.
Besides, if you have a good Anti-Virus program, it'll protect
you.
I've been using Limewire for a while, and never had any
problems.

Nope, I don't use Limewire. I use Shareaza. It's WAY better.

Yes, Don't download any .exe or .zip file and keep your anti-virus software up to date.
