In my oppion Ed would win for sure.

Hellooooooo....Goku would beat Edward in like 3 second...He's faster ,stronger, and one of his blast would kill Ed where he stands. Ed would be too worried about using alchemy to realizes Goku teleports behind him and and kicks him in the head and then bashes his face into the ground... all without breaking a sweat !!!!!

Edward doesn't mess around, Goku talks to much befor he fights. though it would be close cos Goku is way stronger and can fly but Ed know alchemy and if Goku grabs him Ed would transmute him or something.

Considering the fact that it takes around three episodes for Goku to power up, I'd go with Ed.

I would have to agree that Edward would win. I think maybe because of his young age he would be more creative and open-minded in his fighting strategies. Also Allie makes a good point, I can't think of any one fight Goku is in that lasts only one episode.

Ok I believe that Goku would win.. Yes it takes him many episodes to power up don't get me wrong, but the only reason is because the enemies he fights could kick Edward's little *** too. Were talking about a boy who uses Alchemy and can't track like people in Dragon Ball can. Edward is also a little boy compared to Goku. Goku doesn't even have to touch him, he could use the kamehameha and kill him. People, I love Brotherhood, but please can we use common sense here, rather than how we love a character more than another. Plus I hate Goku, and It's pretty obvious he could win, even Gohan or Vegeta could kill him. :/ Sorry.
