Favorites:
1. TEXAS!!! Great weather, climate, remarkably clean, diversity in geography and culture, history, and best people!
2. Alabama: beautiful scenery, clean air, still very clean, geographical diversity, great people.
3. Mississippi: for the same reasons as Alabama; however, the job opportunities really aren't as abundant there, sorry.
4. Tennessee: East TN is beautiful b/c of the mountains, but I love west and middle TN because of the people.
5. Pennsylvania: Mountains!
Least favorites:
1. Kentucky. Sure, it's beautiful, but it goes on and on about how friendly, gracious, charitable, and Southern it is. BULL CRAP! People are impolite, pretentious, rude, and impatient here. Women don't even say "thank you" when you hold doors open for them. If you don't know somebody or aren't part of a prominent family, it's hard to fit in the clique or even find jobs...seriously.
2. New Jersey: Same reasons as KY, but at least you expect it.
3. New York: not great, NYC not too bad

And, of course, NY and NJ don't have the Southern thing going for it.

I just love the state of Tennessee.I live here and it has a bit of everything mountains, farmland.big cities and best of all the friendliest people.
I do not really have a least favorite state. But if I have to name one it would be Illinois where I grew up till I was 15.They were the most snobbish folks I have had the displeasure of growing up around. All I remember is that people never said hello to you as you walked by them even if they knew you.
Honorable mention goes to Florida,Texas,Louisiana and South Carolina. Also Virginia,Alabama,Georgia and Washington.I have been to all these places some I spent more than a month there and they were all great places to visit.

Illinois is my favorite state because it's where I live and where I grew up. I love Chicago and the whole area around it. Illinois also has a lot of amazing historical sites. One bad thing is we have terrible roads.
My least favorite is Tennessee. I only briefly drove through there when I was on a road trip but the place flat out scared me. It was the dead of winter and the hills were full of dead trees... The people seriously looked straight out of "Deliverance". I'm not paranoid by any stretch of the imagination but I felt like I was being watched the entire time. I'm also not crazy about Indiana either. I swear to god, the state SMELLS BAD. You don't need to pay attention to where you're going to know you've passed into Indiana.

Well, let's just say... I'M WITH YOU! I was born and raised in North Mississippi and that's my favorite state! I now live in Louisiana and I honestly don't like it too much; there's too much drinking here. I used to drink myself to almost death but now that I don't, I don't really like being around it constantly! I LOVE THE SOUTH! I love the sweet southern charm, friendly smiles, sweet tea, cornbread and all of mama's cookin'! Tennessee is a great state too. I don't like New York or the city life. I really don't like to judge things without knowing much about it but; I don't really like Northern states, most people seem very unfriendly and stuck up! I feel I'll always live somewhere in the south. I have to be around nice and friendly people! You have a good day, ya hear!?

One my favorites: California. Gorgeous climate and beautiful scenery: Beaches, mountains, valleys, deserts AND forests! A lovely, exciting city on the Bay, San Francisco. Flowers all year round, sailboats, palm trees, orchards, vineyards, bikes on the beach and sunshine. Big Sur, Napa Valley and San Diego!
One of my least favorites: California. Filty, disgusting, empty, yet overcrowded, backwards Los Angeles. People who think they're on the cutting edge, and are completely clueless. Not to mention poorly educated! Dimwitted, shallow airheads, fulfilling every stereotype of California. Bad architecture, terrible housing, lousy healthcare, low standard of living, high cost of living. English optional even in the enormous, soulless, junk-filled shopping malls. 2 hour drives to get to third-rate attractions that folks in the U.S. wouldn't cross the street for. Overcrowded, third-world hell hole.

I love New Hampshire. Why? Well, I was born & raised here, for one thing. For another, everything is an hour away...ocean, lakes, mountains, Boston....And we get to enjoy all 4 seasons in all their glory here.
Least favorite, of the ones I've been to (obviously), would be Florida. It's just too flat for my taste.
