*Shrug* Depends on your beliefs. Do you believe in God and an Apococlypse? Do you believe that the current state of affairs in the world is so f^#$ed up that we'll either blow ourselves to pieces, die of disease, over-population, crop failure, or poisoned water before our grandchildren are born?

The answer is we don't really know. It depends on how wise we become in the next few generations, and whether we (meaning, humanity) can get our enviormental pollution, war-mongering, and population growth under control. Hypothetically speaking our planet won't be destroyed until the sun becomes a red giant in approximately 4.5 to 5 billion years. So humanity, if it never developed space travel, could last that long. But unless major changes are made in the coming fifty to one hundred and fifty years, we may well be facing yet another mass extinction of life on earth (this wouldn't be the first major extinction...).

Soon, when all this crazy electric universe stuff goes down and fries Earth, and our crops that support the 6 billion people of Earth fail, and the major religious groups take control of our planet because what will be taking place will obviously be the Apocalypse, so the Christians label the Muslims the antichrists, and the Muslims label the Christians the same thing, and the world goes to Hell.

Then when we die all the pollutants and heavy metals our bodies have accumulated wreak havoc on our souls, which are pinches essentialy in Earth's electric field. They travel our nervous systems all the way along our strands of DNA, which are finely tuned and give rise to our consciousness. Just like we've witnessed double-helix galaxies, shaped by Birkeland currents and magnetic fields in space, our DNA gets its shape from the very same forces.

Anyways, the world ends soon. Pretty soon the economies of the world will meltdown, America will be blamed, than our crops will begin failing. Americans will go to war to survive, but we are so unhealthy we will break out in diseases from malnourishment and stored pollutants in our bodies, which will give the world the image that we are being punished by God for our sins! Most of the crops grown nowadays have very little nutrients compared to the crops our parents and grandparents ate.

Anyways, this Apocalypse has been prepared for us by the powers that be. You can't tell me NOBODY saw this coming, and it's the same somebody that runs the scientific establishments these days. They don't want you to know just how dire our situation is.

I polled this question to the various objects in my living room (including my girl friend), and overall, the majority believe it will end around the year 2031 A.D. Here is a break down of the individual answers:

Living room clock: 1:01AM
VCR: when everything flashes 12:00
Cordless Phone: 123456789*0#
TV (Headline News): "...25 years from now..."
The Couch: groaned, no other answer
The Chair: no reply
Celing Fan: implied there is no beginning or end, just unending revolutions...
The security camera modulator: 15...16...17...15...16...17...
My friend on the phone: "Probably in 25 or 30 years, or maybe never."
The printer: wouldnt answer, just clicked at me
My Girlfriend: "Hopefully not for at least another 20 or 25 years, there's still tons of things I want to do yet"

The 3 Lamps, the carpet, the TV stand, the Stereo and the bookshelves declined to comment in any way, except one book shelf mutely pointed out the names of several books contained there in, such as Uncle John's Absolutely Absorbing Bathroom Reader, The Wild West Miners, 100s of free things, and the 2nd Herman Collection.

Somebody in the answers mentioned aztec beliefs. If 2011 is the year for the earth to be destroyed then how come the Aztec beliefs have shown us work relating to 2012
I create an image which I said had relevance to Jason and the Argonauts, my work converting mythological characters into chemical elements or another purpose relating to the cosmic forces. My work tells me of electromagnetic effect/force relating to Jason. I also create an image of this-Over two years later somebody tells me this image is identical to the Aztecs predictions for 2012. I shall give you the link as it has something to do with alignment of electromagnetism

I am most interested if anybody finds or knows anything about this 2012 prediction, a post has been put in my msn group relating to this if want to read more
Does their prediction have anything to do with comets?

It will end, when you end. When god decides you have acheived whatever you have had to acheive in the world, god uses a fishing line, to reel you up back into the heavens. That is when you stop seeing the world.
