LOVE is more powerful because it is a constructive force, resulting in win-win.

HATE is strong at first but because it is destructive, the end result is lose-lose.

You must first define love and hate. Most people think that love is simply not doing bad things to someone, while true love is sacrificing your time/happiness/life/possessions for someone else. Hate, though often thought of as a negative, evil feeling, is actually a lack of love. It is actually a neutral feeling, an ignorance of someone/thing. Contempt would be the proper opposite for love, Yet both can be equally powerful. Love and contempt can easily define the entire outcome of a situation, therefore they exist as Equal Opposites, like -5 and +5. Both can have different levels. If a man is about to jump from a bridge and the person next to him looks him in the eye with great love, he will not jump, and may changes his entire love from that point onward. If he looks him in the eye with equal contempt, he is sure to push him off the edge, ending a life that could have been great. Ying and Yang, good and bad, love and hate.

Love is the most powerful thing in the universe.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13: 4-7).

Hate is easy. It is the path of least resistance, however, will require an enormous amount of energy from the one who hates. If you can find love, then you are free to offer forgiveness which is liberating.

Just remember... hate is corrosive and will likely do more damge to the vessel holding it than the one whom it gets spilled on.

HATE! Because it has the power to kill. Anyway, that doesn't mean that I love hate. I still love "love" but I think hatred is more powerful because it can do many things that love can never do.

Love is more powerful - You can't hate a person as much as you can love a person

i believe tht love is more powerful.
If u harbour hatred, then as the time flies, it is bound to fizzle out or become less in intensity, unless and until u have to see the person/thing causing tht hatred frequently. Most of us are too intent on fitting into this world to pursue thoughts of vengeance. We ultimately feel tht keeping our hatred alive costs us our mental peace.

Love is more powerful in the sense that it does not leave room for embarassment and we feel tht the ends will surely justify the means. Keeping our love alive gives us a new lease of life.

Love is more powerful, no question. Love is intimate and transforming to the individual who experiences it. Love is multi dimensional and can be expressed in an infinite number of ways; hate is flat, ugly, and doesn't allow for growth or transformation.

Love is the most powerful. Even God Himself allows Himself to be controlled by love.

Love. Remember the story of the old man and the wind? The wind bet the sun he would get the coat off the old man but the harder he blew the harder the old man clung to the coat. Yea? well it's the same with everything..... If we coooo softly then our lover will uncover the earth for us, but if we blast and steam then s/he will just close themselves to us.

Also, many of the world's greats have noted: 'that people are our greatest resurce'. Well, we have to be sweet to them. Like honey.

I believe nothing is more powerful than pain and fear...their levels determine how much love and hate you are able to experience.
