Well, I have to say, you're being very stereotypical. It's obvious that you don't like Americans, but don't you think that you're generalizing, just a bit? Most Americans have moved on from being prejudiced. Now, I'm not saying that the whole of America isn't prejudiced, because there are a large number of prejudiced people. But isn't it the same in other countries as well? And how exactly do Americans show off? I don't understand. And perhaps we do sometimes get in business that maybe we shouldn't, such as Iraq, but that shouldn't be a reflection on our country, it's a reflection on the choices of the president. And like the person above me said, there are some tourists who think they're God's gift to mankind, but not everyone is like that. A few people shouldn't be cause to hate a whole country. No person, no country, is perfect.

Simple, jealousy. It has taken me awhile to figure this out. I lived in England for several years and noticed the English had no hesitation going up to a American stranger and tell them what was wrong with their country. I have my own thoughts about other countries but I have no overwhelming compulsion to go up to their citizens to tell them their country sucks, and its because I am not jealous of any other country. Its has also become fad around the world to hate America. That were are the only superpower is another reason, don't worry that won't last much longer. Being a mostly Christian country is another reason for being hated around the world. I can promise you this, a change in foreign policy or change in presidents will make absolutely no difference in the hatred of this country. There are many more reasons but I have grown bored with the question.

it is thinking like yours that is the problem with the world. There is nothing wrong with Americans. Sure we have a lot of annoying people but so does England, France, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, and the list goes on. Everybody is just as bad. I think it is because we are not afraid of telling you how it is and you are jealous of us.

That little green monster, jealousy. We have what they wish they had. Couple that with some ugly American tourists who think they are God's gift to the world, and our intervention militarily into some of their interests, and you have the answer.

i think that europeans hate our government more than the people. bush decides for 'us' what to do, whose business to stick our noses in, he just needs to let everyone alone quit bothering everybody. we as people are no different than anyone else. we eat, sleep, ****, walk, ****, whatever.
