You've described him as "so insecure" and possibly cheating on you. Why would you want to stay with someone like that when you're off to college and you have a whole new world in front of you? Do you really want to spend the next four years worrying about whether or not he's grown up or stayed faithful when you could be out there meeting exciting new guys who you could potentially have a solid, trusting relationship with?

Not to mention the fact that if you really make the most of your time in college, you'll be evolving as a person...you won't be content with what you're describing now. Maybe in his insecurity he already feels that, and he's letting you go. So take this as a parting gift from him (if you love something, set it free....) and....go.

You may feel like you need to solve everything right now, but I can tell you that a lot can happen in your 4-6 years in college. You could fall in love and be heartbroken multiple times within just one year.

If you both really were in love you would both do anything to work it out. Remember a relationship does not fix itself...youi have to work for it.

Take time out your heart will tell you and then your mind will also. Have fun and do not worry you are in college now and that is cool.

If you dont trust him then the relationship is not going to last. One of the important things in a relationship is trust.

Its all about trust. If you really feel that he is cheating then he just might be. Be honest with yourself!
