that would depend a lot on what area you're talking about.
one possibility is species destruction, like over-fishing or over-hunting, or buying or selling endangered animals or animal parts, (like gorilla parts, or ivory, for example.) hunting animals on safari or even just the destruction of the land from driving through wilderness is an issue too. another would be the waste and chemicals produced by and on behalf of tourists. (cruise ships are a good example: they produce tons of waste and dump it all in the ocean.) tourists should think about the effect their visit, multiplied by thousands, has on the local environment and on the society there.
