Lets say, i have a 3.7 GPA, and graduated with an international Baccalaureate diploma, and have done tons of volunteer work.

Hey there,

I go to NYU now and I'd say you have a good chance if you score over a 1400 on your SAT. Under that, then it could go both ways, but you do have a good chance. I was in the IB program while in High School as well :) I scored a 1510, if you care.

Also, The volunteer work is really cool. We are very much so a laidback kind of Liberal school of mainly artists, filmmakers, law and business/social science, philosophy kind of people, whom do a good amount of volunteer work.

It is a great school in a great city. If you want to come here, apply and see what happens.

sounds good, schools love volunteer work, if your Sat's are good, I'd say its pretty much in the bag, as long as you don't screw up the interview. (i had a friend with about a 3.2 and a 1050-kinda average and didn't get in, if that helps) good luck.
