I remember before the election when the dems were trying to appease us when they thought (and I did, too) that Bush was really going to lose big time saying that we needed to respect the President because of the office and that he'd be President of all the people and he will need our support? What happened to all that?

The vehemence with which the "loyal" opposition has opposed George Bush from the moment he won the nomination to the very present is not in any way normal behavior for a group or class of people. It seems to me there is a link-step mentality at play whereby no righteous democrat can admit the right of President Bush to his office. This is a dangerous thing. This hatred has tainted the entire country aided by the media and the talking heads of the left as they spread the notion that Bush is not legitimate. People who do not analyze the source or content of the news they receive take it at face value and their perception is skewed against Bush, the War in Iraq, and just about anything else the democrats in their angry rant to regain power broadcast against the President. These same individuals then are not just cry babies-- twice defeated by what they consider unfair elections-- they're a dangerous element in an open society where dissent is meant to have some purpose or reason other than vindication and self-aggrandizement. Should the democrats regain power in the next election, you can be sure the same people who did not fairly consider what they saw or read will rue the day. I believe that, for all of this hate, which must affect him, President Bush has been a "President of all the people," one who does not kowtow to pundits or polls, but knows in his own mind what to do for the people who he truly serves.

It is obvious that you aren't really interested in an answer. You want to bash the President and chose this format.

The country, as a whole, will never support any man (or woman) that "walks the walk and talks the talk." President Bush seeks God's will for the United States through his daily prayers and his actions. God's will is not always the way man/woman wants it to be.
I thank God, everyday, for a God fearing president.

The many atrocities that have occurred since our president has taken office would challenge any leader. President Bush has stepped up to the plate and taken these challenges in the way God has led him. (Not necessarily the way many would have chosen.)
We are indeed fortunate and blessed to have President Bush as our leader at a time of great difficulty in our nation's history. My greatest fear, for the United States, is when President Bush is no longer our president.

God bless America, and God bless President Bush!

I'm not tired or amazed by the fact that Bush won again and there are "crybabies". I don't think he won either election fairly (but that's another topic). I take a small amount of peace in knowing that I didn't vote for him (or Kerry or Gore). I voted for the candidate I thought would lead this country correctly... just like everyone should.

You need to get a hold of the latest article in Rolling Stone magazine. There is an article written by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and the investigations they are still working on dealing with the 2004 Presidential Election are downright scary.

Peace IS Patriotic!

I can't wait for 2008!!!

I am so tired of it, whining for 6 years. People used to stand behind their President when i was young no matter if you lost or not. You know what I think Bush Basher Liberals are?
Tax-Raising, Sushi-Eating, Volvo-Driving, New York Times-Reading, Body-Piercing, Hollywood-Loving, Left-Wing Freak Show, Peace loving even to the downfall of their own country!

I have absolutely no problem with the fact that he won twice. I just don't like the guy. I didn't care for either of the guys he beat either.

bungibabe - That's a little harsh
Tax-Raising (I hate taxes, but we're going to need to raise them to pay off Bush's debt)), Sushi-Eating (i don't even like fish cooked), Volvo-Driving (2 American cars), New York Times-Reading (bores me to death), Body-Piercing (nope), Hollywood-Loving (haven't been to a movie in 6 years), Left-Wing Freak Show (I do like the occasional freak show though)

I prefer to be a non-hyphenated American (damn, I just used a hyphen)

No one has been able to prove that the election in Ohio was hijacked. But whenever it is closely scrutinized, the range of problems and dirty tricks that come to light is shocking. What's not shocking, of course, is that every glitch and every foul-up in Ohio, every arbitrary new rule and regulation,
SOMEHOW favored Bush!!! (Imagine that!)

Babe,
Bush didn't "win" twice...
See Repugs have this
very corrupt machine
called D-I-E-B-O-L-D
and without it...
gosh, they can't win s*it...

Republican...
Just a longer word for CORRUPT

Bush's JOB APPROVAL RATING is
29%...and 71% DISAPPROVE...
GEE...YOUR DOING
A HECK OF A JOB
MONKEY BOY!

Oh and respect
is something you EARN
not steal!!!

Politics is all about ranting and raving. Just look at the Republicans and their attempt at a Gay Marriage Amendment that took time from other projects. Both sides are talking to theri supporters and not to the general people.
