Is it awkward getting your bikini area waxed?

I've never gotten it done and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it...

if you're embarassed in general then you'll feel embarassed getting that procedure done. but a professional will make you feel at ease and you'll forget before long. you just have to keep in mind that you aren't the first person they've seen. chances are you aren't the first person he/she has seen that hour. you'll be the only one feeling shame until you get used to the treatments.
go ahead and splurge. you might love it and return frequently. if you hate it you lost just a few bucks and no one will talk bad about you.

Just get your bikini line done. I think girls should stop shaving down there. It looks much sexier with hair. You can shave, but leave at least a landing strip.

I find it a little bit painful. But it's looks so nice and neat as opposed to shaving. I would let the person waxing you know that it's your first time so that they can be more careful and gentle! :)

it's only awkward the first time. and i won't lie, it will hurt like a b****.... but afterward, you will feel sooooo clean and sexy.... you need it for summer time for the bathing suits....

shaving is not too good either because it just makes them more coarse, not to mention ingrown hair and razor burns..... waxing will last your at least 2-3 weeks..... i highly recommend it.....
