i love nick cage movies and his role in city of angels was perfect but believe it or not a recently just saw meet joe black with anthony hopkins, another actor i admire, and though both movies are similar i cant decide which one i like better

I love Brad but City of Angels was the best. The whole idea of Nicolas Cage "falling" to earth and becoming human to be with the woman he loved no matter what price he paid made my heart melt! Brad and Anthony both were pretty good in MJB but still can't compare.

I would prefer Meet Joe Black for the satire, although both movies are really good. Meet Joe Back has dark humour, and although Nicholas Cage is my fav actor, I find that City of Angels is just too intense. A lot of things in the movie are so depressing.

I like Meet Joe Black the best. It is one of my favorite movies. City of angels was good too, but i think meet joe black was better.
