ok I really need offensive help, my ave, sb, hr are all in the bottoms of my league. I have pitching to trade b/c I have played the wire pretty well in that dept. Let me know what you think of this trade.

I am trading away Teixeira, Pierre, and Zito
I am getting Hafner, Roberts, Feliz, and Menche

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That wouldn't be a bad trade, it has both ups and downs. Teixeira's been settling down after a hot first month. Pierre hasn't really been there so you can get your average up defeintly by trading them away and getting Hafner and Roberts. The only thing is your going to find a pitcher that you can replace Zito with because hes been pitching very well this season. Perhaps a Madduz or Millwood. Peavy has also been lights out as of late. I'd say go for it, make the trade, and then try to find some pitching. Your offense should defeintly benefit though.

I'd work on getting someone 1 for 1 for Zito if you're willing to part with him. It sounds like you have pitching to spare but Zito's been lights out and the only player you're getting back on par with him 1 for 1 is Hafner. Hafner is on pace to hit 44 HR's and drive in 126 RBI's that would give you a solid bat to team up with Texiera. Hold on to Pierre he's a slow starter that always blossoms right around the middle of June and then is lights out the rest of the season see stats 04-05.

NO!!! just say no, thats terrible. hafner is good. so figure teixeira for hafner. then figure pierre for roberts (loss of SB, even worse for that stat), zito for feliz and menche is horrid. felize will hit 20 HR and knock it 60-70 RBI but hit .240, and the only reason why menche has a job is because safeco is a huge field and makes sure that era stays in the 5's. anywhere else it would be in the 7's- 8's

You will be on the good side of the trade. Getting rid of Teixeira and Pierre is very good they haven't done anything this year. You are getting rid of Zito but since he is on the A's he won't get you a lot of wins.

Hafner is a very good hitter and you should expect him to get you HR.

Roberts is probably one of the most overrated 2B in the Majors. He has very good hitting skills. He won't get you power, but he is a very good contact hitter that will raise your avg. He has very good speed too so you can expect to get sb now.

Feliz is the only person I don't really know about. He is good at times, though. But his inconsistency is in question, he would be just a good bench player.

Menche isn't bad. He isn't hitting that many HR lately but he still has a good bat. Probably another good bench player depending on the rest of your OF.

No way...maybe as of now, but if Texierra begins to heat up at all in the second half (which he's more than capable of) you'll end up looking like a goat in this trade.
