Call your county agricultural extension agent. They should be able to put you in touch with a local timber buyer. Mature walnut trees may fetch you several thousand dollars each. I have a friend who bought 67 acres and a month later paid off the loan with the proceeds generated by the harvest of some of the walnut trees on the property.

Good luck with your sale.

All walnut trees are valued my companies that make guns.
they use the wood to make the stocks of the guns and
primarly use walnut with black walnut being the best. So
if you have some company in the area that makes guns
contact them and they will do the rest. Usually they will
cut the tree and give you a fair price as to its value.
