I have done a logo in logo design for someone and had it saved to disk but they are saying that they can not size it. Am I confused or should this file be able to be sized in any software if it is jpeg, gif, etc,. If not please explain to me how I should do the file so that it can be sized. Help!!!!!

There aren't many programs that won't let you scale a JPEG. I'd be more inclined to think your friend lacks the ability than to think the program lacks ability. if you get a chance go over to their program with them and go over the program's options for scaling.

JPEG, PNG and BMP are well-known for the most graphics editors. Do not use GIF since there still are some patent problems.

I have never had a problem with resizing any picture format, jpg, tif, gif, bmp, etc. Weird.

JPEG is your BEST bet. its a smaller file size then BMP.
