Are you prepared at home with food and water, where would you go to get it, do you have a safe place to go? I was in the Army and I just realized that I am not prepared if something like that happened.

If hit by the Bird Flu, I'd go to the nearest hospital.
If Nuclear War broke out, I'd find a Fall-out shelter.
If the Plague were to hit, I would seek medical attention.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with the most popular answer- Die. I mean, really. It's like when they found that food depository in the Brooklyn Bridge from the cold war. Everyone knew it'd do no good, but people did it for the psychological comfort that "they're prepared." There's no sufficient preparation for mass destruction, unless you're lucky enough to be on the outskirts of the damage radius, in which case you need to evacuate to a local shelter like a school or fire house. Firstly, it's very unlikely you're going to be in a situation like that (one hopes) and secondly, if it does happen, it's VERY unlikely you'd be in a position where having a few jugs of water handy is going to make the difference between life or death. In my view, you're either in the circle, or you're out. Just pray you're out.

I don't think ANYONE can be prepared for any of that. The only thing we can do is live our lives and not worry too much about when AND IF those things are going to happen.

No, we are not completely prepared. I don't think you can be completely prepared for such circumstances. I think most people will deal with it as best they can. I know from experience, prayer is vital in such circumstances.
