WAS HE MURDERED FOR BEING GAY ( THE NEIGHBOR LEAVING HIS WIFE THING) DID HIS PARENTS KNOW HE WAS GAY?

They lead to believe his wife found out he was gay and had him killed. A bunch of guys jumped him and pretty much beat him to death with a tire iron. At least that is how I took it. And yes his parents knew, I just don't think the father cared and the mother wasn't powerful enough to do anything about it. It was so sad, I cried!

He was killed by a mob because he was gay. His parents knew he was gay, that's way the mother gave him the jacket. What a wonderful movie!
