It will restart right away and will not have a problem for a few weeks or a few days.it is an automatic and has 55k on it.It seems to only happen on the exit ramps.

you could be geting some blowby, but with that few miles, i REALLY doubt it...probably just a computer thing, or your idle sensors and such are all outta whack...id run the free diagnostic and most schucks on it b4 i looked at mechanical stuff. Also, it could your ground wire for the fuel pumps. My 99 had that little problem, and i simply replaced it with a grounding system from an older model, worked like a charm

I have a '98 Suburban K2500 with the 7.9L. Same problem a while back. Fuel pressure regulator. Dumped too much back to the tank when I slowed down from cruising speed.

Your fuel pump may not be able to hold enough pressure. Get your fuel system checked. When was the last time you did a fuel filter. try that first

chevy manufactures had a problem with thier ground wire from the fuel pump

Is it bad luck? Anyway i wish u wood go quickly and get that checked on or if needed fixed.
