Bush goes to India, who has not signed the NPT, and tells them they can enrich uranium for nuclear power. Then he tells Iran, who has signed the NPT, they can't.

I'm not saying that there is not good reason to deny Iran but doesn't this void or make completely irrelevant the NPT? When he tried to bully N.Korea they just pulled out of their NPT agreement.

Doesn't he realize he is just restarting another cold war which is why the NPT is so important?

I agree with you that we cannot play favorites when it comes to something as potentially destructive as nuclear power. Just because India is more of an ally of the US than is Iran doesn't mean that they won't abuse their power. On the other hand, I believe that Iran signed the NPT precisely BECAUSE it is a farce.
