I'm 20 years old and a college student and I just got a spiel from a 55 year old guy (with a Ph.D in science) about the Big Bang and how it's the true history of our world.

so much for his life, he just wasted it trying to live a lie.

Strange. You say you're a college student, yet you can't sort out the difference between biology (evolutionary theory) and physics ("big bang" theory)...?

Also odd --- how thumpers can't get a handle on the notion that evolution does not exclude a creator, does not exclude God.

Speaking as one who understands the basics of evolutionary theory, and as one who feels no compunction to ever dare lecture such an astute person as yourself, let me say just one thing --

Check back in a million years and see who evolved -- evolutionists or creationists.

Until then, that's all I have for you.

To pretend the you know the truth is just as absurd. At least evolutionary theory makes some rational sense. Unlike the bible's version of events for example. I hear the world is only 11,000 years old or something absurd like that according to creationists. c'mon you guys can't really believe that can you?

so much for your life, you're wasting it trying to believe a fairy tale

I agree with what ttoflea said, especially his first paragraph.

"so much for his life, he just wasted it trying to live a lie."

And people that believe god is responsible for everything aren't living a lie? LOL, thanks for the laugh.

Now, to answer your original question, evolutionists don't shut up because they are searching for the truth. If you have a better theory as to how humans came about, I'm sure they would like to hear it.

Why don't you just shut up? I'm sure if you talked about your religion to this man he'd feel bad for you, living a lie. People have different beliefs, and you should try to be more respectful of others' ideas, whether you agree with them or not.

Stacy wins! whats with it that when creationists try to give some spiel like that, like the media goes crazy and really discriminates against them, but evolutionists do it all the time and don't get any negative "remarks" from the media

Because that's his opinion and he's entitled to it. I personally believe that we were created and didn't evolve from some animal but some people unfortunately don't. As a Christian, you know that "every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all".
