there is a good chance that the two are connected. did you have any other symptoms with the UTI?? did your doctor do a urinalysis before prescribing the antibiotic??

i got a UTI and yeast infection a few months ago and i think that it was b/c my b/f and i got a little frisky and i didn't make sure that his hands were clean. as long as you are starting to feel better it is probably a UTI. if your problem persists then i would definately tell your doctor the WHOLE story. you should have thought about your mom thinking you negatively of you before you went so far with you boyfriend.

drinking lots of cranberry juice and water will help to get rid of it faster.

I had UTI at times because l do not drink enough water. Water helps in cleansing our inside so "dirt" will be flushed out.Poor hygiene can also trigger an onset of UTI.lts best to be squeaky clean before sex...be it kissing or the real thing. STDs are different from UTIs.You get STD from an infected person.

Having an STD can contribute to contracting a UTI. You should be screened for STDS if you have had intercourse, being fingered is not going to give you an STD.

the germs that exist around yr anal passage r probably the cause for this. if the young man in question has come near the anal with his finger and then yr clit area yes very easy to get a urinary infection otherwise could be kidney related.

Did your partner wash their hands first? It's possible. Being clean is important, for both partners. You should have told your doctor everything, it can help with a proper diagnosis.
Lace, what does weight loss have to do with this question?

If your partner has dirty hands, it could be from that.
