The body recognizes these things, which would be allergens, as harmful foreign objects, so it attacks them, just like it does with pathogens. that's why you get all kinds of inflammation. the body doesn't know that they're in fact harmless.

many people who are not exposed to particular allergens (including parasites, pollen, bed bugs, and pollutants) at a young age (think infant and toddler) will overreact when they're older.
it's good to get some exposure to bacteria and dust when you're young it makes your immune system used to it so that it doesn't freak out when you're older.

recent reearch suggest that allergies occur because your too clean.so,when your immune system is exposed to a harmless stimuli it has never experienced before,it interprets it as a threat and goes on red alert!so don't keep your children to clean!!!
