Would you rather be book smart or street smart?

Well, my husband always tells me that I am book smart, but when it comes to street smarts I am SLOW. Ok, so I think I prefer it this way. I will be book smart, and he can be street smart--Good combination.

Well, you really can't make it in the world without having both. But, some people don't have book & street smarts....and those are the ones who have gotten nowhere. If I had to choose though, street smart probably. Because then I could have a conversation with someone without sounding too brainy....I take street smart to mean that you are more sociable.

I would rather be both, but if I had to choose I would be book smart, because I could then read up on how to be street smart.

I would rather be street smart because when you have book smarts you are really good at most things in life, but when you are street smart you know that you can take care of yourself no matter what situation you are in.

Street smart. I don't think Book Smart will get you through this life . However Street Smarts CAN get you everything you need to exist.

i would say street smart. u cant learn to be street smart in two days. it takes a while. you can then always later be book smart. even though it doesn't teach you common sense, just the facts. =|

I would choose a little of both because too much o fbook smart leaves u with no common sense. too much street makes u a little rough around the edges.

but having to choose only one I would say street smart.

Street Smart! Least you'd be able to live with street smarts. It doesn't make one less stupid, just able to handle people and their surroundings.
