Well, if the OP had phrased the question differently, the answer would have been much cooler. "What were the first Earth creatures on the moon?" is more interesting.

Bacteria are everywhere. They even beat us to the moon... in 1967, NASA launched the lunar probe Surveyor 3. Inside was a camera for taking pictures of the moon. The foam insulation on the camera was contaminated with some Streptococcus bacteria before launch. (Guzundheit, NASA engineer!)

Over two years later, Apollo 12 astronauts recovered the camera. They were shocked to find the bacteria, and even more shocked to find them still alive. Said astronaut Pete Conrad, " I always thought the most significant thing that we ever found on the whole goddamn Moon was that little bacteria who came back and lived and nobody ever said s*** about it."

Bacteria were here before, they go everywhere we go, and they'll be here when we're gone.

A monkey and a dog were the first animals in space. People were the first animal on the moon, although the cockroach is probably not far behind.

The space mouse.
In 1960 before the US had finished a team of Swedish mice, who had heard the rumor of the moon being made of cheese, launched on a cold and windy August morning.

This is of course a little known fact.
