Anyone have any ideas, I have a necklace from my Ex and would really like to have it melted down and made into something else...any ideas ???

Take it to a jewelry store--that is the only place I know of doing that. Look at all your options and decide what you really want like a nice ring with a stone set in it or a thumb ring or a pendent....

That's a hugely expensive thing to do...much more than the outcome would be worth. Can't you just get rid of it and buy something else?

alot of pawn shops can do it for you

instead of melting it down, you might be able to trade for something else they already have

Local jewler...that's a no brainer. But why bother? Sell it on ebay....

Well, you could take it to the local welding shop,,, or,,,,to any jewelry repair shop.
